License Agreement
What you may and may not do with a purchased template kit.
OWNER/LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED — a professional draft describing the intended licensing model. Final wording must be reviewed by a qualified adviser before commercial launch.
What you are buying
Buying a template kit gives you a license to use it. It does not transfer ownership or copyright. The licensor and rights-holder is Liberty M Studio LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Colorado, United States, trading as Liberty Web Kits, which retains all rights in the kits and their underlying design.
License tiers
Single Site License
Permits use of the kit to build one finished website. That website may be your own or a client’s. Building a second website requires a second license. This is the only license tier offered at launch.
Agency / Multi-Site License — not offered
An Agency or Multi-Site License is not offered at launch and cannot be purchased. No site limit and no price exist for it. If such a tier is introduced later, its terms will be stated at the point of sale and this page will be updated before it goes on sale.
Bundle License
If a bundle is offered, a bundle license applies the tier purchased to every kit included in that bundle. No bundle is on sale at launch.
What you may do
- Build a finished website with the kit, for yourself or for a client.
- Modify the kit’s layouts, colours, fonts, images and content as much as you like.
- Charge a client for the work you do building their website.
- Keep the finished website running indefinitely.
What you may not do
- Redistribute, share or sell the kit files, whether modified or not.
- Re-upload a kit to another marketplace, theme shop or file-sharing service.
- Repackage a kit as a competing template, theme or starter product.
- Share your account credentials or download links so others can obtain the files.
- Include the kit files in a product where the kit itself is what is being delivered.
The distinction is simple: you are licensed to deliver finished websites, not to redistribute the kit.
Client work
You may build a client site with a kit and hand it over. The client owns the finished website; the license covering the kit remains with whoever purchased it, for the number of sites that license permits.
Third-party assets
Images and other placeholder assets included for demonstration may be licensed separately and may not be redistributable with your finished site. Replace placeholder imagery with your own before launching.
OWNER INPUT REQUIRED — list the licensing status of any bundled third-party assets per kit.
Termination
This license ends if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the kit files, though websites already built and delivered under a valid license may continue to operate.
